Every writing project is a different entity and has its own quirks.  What each has in common is the goal of communicating meaning to an audience and creating shared understanding with viewers or readers.

Knowing the target audience and skillfully stylizing content – using a structure, tone and point-of-view that make sense – is key to finding the heart of the story and giving each project a unique voice.

Writing experience includes: short films, television shows (narration scripts for various series), articles, reviews, curation essays, and successful project proposals and grant applications. In summer 2016 I began contributing to the Hamilton Arts Council’s LivingArts Blog as their Film & Media Arts writer.
